Mr Matt Rudman - More Than Just a Martial Arts and a Kickboxing Workout!
Serving as the owner and principal instructor at Cheltenham Martial Arts & Fitness Kickboxing, Matt Rudman is an exceptionally proficient martial artist, fitness kickboxing trainer, and personal development mentor with more than 18 years of experience in the realm of instruction and training. He holds a distinguished 5th dan black belt in Kickboxing and Wado Ryu karate, an achievement widely recognised within the industry.
Initiating his martial arts journey at the tender age of 8 with judo, Matt’s passion for the discipline has only flourished over the years. Under the tutelage of Stephen Thompson of Kicx Martial Arts, he secured the eminent rank of a 5th dan black belt in Kickboxing and Wado Ryu karate. Since 2005, he has dedicated his career to instructing martial arts and fitness kickboxing, positively influencing the lives of countless pupils in the process.
In 2012, he established Cheltenham Martial Arts & Fitness Kickboxing, an institution where he continues to guide and encourage students of diverse ages and abilities. Matt staunchly believes that martial arts extend beyond mere physical prowess and fundamentally embody mental fortitude. This philosophy is deeply embedded in his teaching methodology, making his classes a truly holistic learning experience.
Matt Rudman believes in building a strong foundation of self-discipline, self-esteem, and respect that can be transferred to all the things you love to do – both outside of the dojo and during training!
